PS3
my only complaint are some games have HUGE installs, wich sucks as when you have to wait like 5-10min maybe even 20 min to install a game,

also the XMB...it's a hassle trying to use it when online playing mp

Around the Network

1) XMB so slow... it is impossible to send friends messages while playing online.
2) It's not a Nintendo console and therefore, no Nintendo love.

3DS is my preferred console and I think a disadvantage is that Mario Kart 7 online keeps getting disconnected. I play online on PC, PS3, Wii and there are hardly any problems but on 3DS, there is.

I still love it nonetheless!! :D

(^dood, we could really do without the big gif in your sig, thanks)

Sony should get down from their high horse and stop expecting people to kneel down and worship them

There's been enough PS3 responses and a few PC... so I'll do Vita:

NO GAEMZ!!!! for the next couple weeks

also what's with Nintendo giving you a limit of uses for their demos on the 3DS?

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with the XMB? I happen to adore it, and find it works just fine even when Im in the middle of a session.

Works like a dream when you aren't in a game. It feels clunky and crowded in-game for me. It's too slow and it's displaying too many unusable features. Luckily this will be easily fixed next gen with more RAM and a redesign or big update to the xmb (if it's kept, that is).

"Preferred platform?"

The GBA SP has no flaws.

Oh, hang on, that's right. It doesn't have a normal headphone port.

I always found its design was unpleasant on the hands.  Love that system, but it really hurts to hold for a guy with big hands.

I have nothing truly bad to say about the GBA and that iteration of it in particular, though.  great games, great advance in portable technology.
