in order of preference.

ps3: lack of cross game chat among other psn features that could be better.

vita: no one else has one and its probably going to be discontinued far too soon.

wii: all of the most compelling content for the last ~4ish years is on netflix.

360: boxed it up when i did the math on live costs because it was cheaper to buy a ps3 than keep playing my 360.

PC-have to constantly deal with troubleshooting problems when games crash or won't run. Its ridiculous that I need to delete certain files or edit files in notepad to run certain retail games... Some games require you to always be online and my internet, though fast, often randomly disconnects for a few seconds.

If you mean consoles only

PS3-ridiculous updates. Don't play it too often, but when I do I usually face 1-2hour of unintuative updates for both the ps3 and the game I'm playing. Example, tells me an update is required and to go to system settings to update. Why the hell does it tell me where to go instead of just asking me do you want to update yes or no... Poor wireless adapter. My PS3 is much much closer to my router than my pc, yet my pc downloads steam games at 4mb a second while my ps3 downloads updates and games at less than 1mb a second and my pc uses a $10 usb wireless stick... Awful controller. I really hope they update it with the ps4, because third party controllers have horrible quality and sony's first party controllers have a horrible design.

if you dont want to update, you can simply unplug your PS3 from the internet.

You really believe that?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

i believe the future of all consoles are bleak and i believe someone is going to fail first.  vita might not be outright discontinued but if it gets the same piss poor game support as the wii did the last 4ish years it might as well be.  so yes, i believe (fear) that.

People feared the ps3 would be discontinued, look how well it turned out.

Have a little faith.

No cross game chat.

No PS2 backwards compatibility with disks.

Flaws:

X360:
-bought the new d-pad controller last year and the said d-pad broke 2 weeks ago, 360 controllers have very poor design quality
-CD are easily scratched
-The ports on the back, especially the hdmi, are flimsy
- Heat issues, even with the Jasper design

PS3
loading time for most game and updates are pretty bad, bad OS design
the trigger button for L2 and R2 didnt needed to be changed to what they are
system gets hot

Wii
batteries on the wii motes do no last that long,
The gamecube controller tray breaks too easy
updates and download takes forever
sensor bar can be non responsive
extreme drought between game releases
OS not that organized

PSV
the battery life is not that great
right analog and X button are too close together, for someone with big hands like me, its a pain

3DS
Again like the psv, someone with big hands, the system is not really made for them
the battery life is not that great
games and demos from the eshop take forever to download, the cute download sequence doesn't hold my interest
the bottom lcd get to dusty and the corners are hard to clean.

Not sure if Nintendo is to blame. I've never waited longer than three minutes for a demo to download.

...and that download sequence is adorable! :P

I agree with The1. Hell, i was getting zippy-quick download speeds from the NA eShop servers when i was all the way in Japan.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

it's not advertised....
