Indeed. Love hotels, shooting galleries, board games; they were all over the place. Clearly Yamauchi had an ambition to expand the scope of the company past Hanafuda starting in the early 70s, one that didn't really find its voice until the end of the decade, and then set the company in the direction we're now so familiar with.
