Game Party Champions  for Wii U. Looks pretty good for a cash-in title.

Warner Bros. Interactive has another Wii U title in the pipeline. Announced today, Game Party Champions will be launching before year’s end.

Game Party Champions offers arcade, sports, and party games. Players can use the Wii U GamePad to compete in activities such as ping pong, skill ball, table hockey, and hoop shoot.

There are also three specific modes included: Quick Play, Story Mode and Party Mode. Quick Play allows gamers to get started with a game right away. Story Mode has users competing for the “World Champion” title. Finally, Party Mode sees players taking turns with the GamePad while others use Wii Remotes to disrupt the experience.

You can find a little bit of extra information in the press release below.

I think this automatically confirms that the Wii U box is offical. Anybody else feel like they are about to unviel the Wii U this month?

The box will confuse so many people. If you didn't know that was a 'U' you wouldn't see it as one, so it would read Wii.

Huh, that does actually look graphically good for a cash-in title.

Looks like a Gamecube box to me. That pretty much makes it different. Also it's blue.

Any core gamer would pause and think about the new shape, yes, but I'm thinking from the perspective of the average Wii owner. They didn't make it clear enough on the box that it's not a Wii title, IF you hadn't heard of Wii U yet. No one would mistake a PS2 box for PS or X360 box for X1 even if they weren't aware.

I was hoping some companies would change their approach with Wii U but it seems like they're going to treat it just like they did the Wii.

Would it be funny if I put "dem graphics O_O" in the title?

Nintendo said they are going to be more active with 3rd party companies. So lets hope that a few are made and they leave it at that. Look at the 3DS. There are some casual shovelware titles out there already, but not too much yet. I would rather all shovelware be put in its own section on the Wii U eshop as party games and left at that. If people want to buy them just go there. Leave 90 percent of them off store shelves so that consumers are not flooded with them. Good games need the spot light this time around. Unlike the wii where all the good games were lost in the sea of shovelware. (Most non Nintendo titles)

This could be the finest looking piece of shovelware I have seen in all my life. I think this now only counts for three (or four) shovelware titles on the Wii U.

nah people still use to get confused. I know a mother who went in asking for zelda on a ps2 LOL.

If they have a decent IQ I am surethey can work it out.

What the? What are nice textures doing in my party games! Get 'em outta here!
