Luck and the Colts destroyed STL. Not that STL is a decent team or anything, but the Colts have improved. If Luck develops into something better, the Colts may be the team to beat in a few years time, but for right now we need to see how they fare against real NFL talent.

Seeing the highlights from the Jets preaseason game made me thankful we don't have Tebow. It was so nerve-racking watching him play on the Broncos.

Guys. Preseason means nothing. The teams that usually do good in the preseason, do bad in the regular season and vice versa.

Well not always but the first preseason game is pretty much useless and a terrible predictor of how a team will do in the regular season since most of the starters play less then a quater.  Second week isn't much better since most the starters will play less then a half.  Third preseason is usually dress rehearsal for the regular season and fourth game goes back to being useless since most of the starters will see little playing time again unless they did absolutely horrible in the third preseason game.

Look at poor AMP already a level 7 on the damage control for the Bears after one preseason blowout.

I did not see him, but overy game made me sick with worry and a strange faith because he kept winning. That pretty boy does better representing body builders in NY than  he does a quarterback, he  only won due too good coaching and a good offensive line. He also is the son of god whom makes himself look like shit so when he wins he can smite all his non-believers. How dare you shakarak.

BTW, I saw you are from Albuquerque, do you feel a lot of people from New Mexico are Broncos fans over say Texas team fans?

Oh please Loco.  I could say that Manning was in midseason form and threw an INT on his one drive, but that would be ridiculous.  You know as well as I that good teams don't like to tip their hand in preseaso, while bad teams try to figure out what they're going to do.  Talk to me if the Bears lose a regular season game like that when Cutler, Forte, Peppers, Briggs, and Hester actually play...

Alright, i will concede the obvious that the preseason means nothing. hahaha. It would be absurd to say your first statement is trus unless you suspect the Patriots and 49ers to be bad.

Anyways, this thread is already bumping faster than last season's early regular season thread. It should be big this year. Especially since Rol is not even interested yet.

FIne, I admit that a team could have a good record in preseason and in the regular season, but many of the better teams don't run any of their normal plays and if a team doesn't play any of their stars, then aren't going to do very well.
