Practically , no great defenses this year.

Gooooo Brooowns, to  shake up the AFC even more.

I would like to say all the loud and angry fans that mocked and were angry at the NFL's inferior product with replacement refs are what caused the rich owners and the NFL commisoner Roger Goddell to stop being cheap asses. They were embarressed last Monday.

Nobody thinks it. As it stand though it will knock a mighty blow to the AFC's crotch leaving Houston as the big leader. Flacco has been between inconsistent and good.

I believe in anything after the past two weeks.

I'm watching since they are back and I saw you predicted close Bears win too. Amp is probably just following the odds which are not in Bears favor.

The Cowboys won two in a row, so this week Romo might be Romo again. I wouldn't be shocked if the Bears won by two scores or more, although Cutler has been awful on the road this season, averaging four interceptions per game.

Dallas is only favored by 3.5. Cutler is bound to have a come back game with the last two being so crappy for him.

baltimore ravens are quite a good nfl team aren't they,i mean i like ravens and crows so have a soft spot for them but doing a quick look at them they are quite new and they were the cleveland browns,so who became the cleveland browns again then as they are still around.

i know the usa is a big palce but when i am looking at where all the cities and teams are the east/north coast and by the lakes it really is a lot of NFL teams/big cities isn't there, some good rivalries around that whole area

i know one can google everything but one doesn't like too

It wasn't an existing team that became the new and current Cleveland Browns, it was an all new team altogether, bringing the total of NFL teams to 31 in 1999 which led to the odd picture of the AFC Central having six teams while all other divisions (AFC West and East; NFC West, Central and East) only had five.

When the Houston Texans joined the ranks of the NFL in 2002, the divisions were reorganized to form the current structure (eight divisions, each with four teams). Rivalries with long tradition were kept intact while newer teams in general were put into the Southern divisions of both conferences (the Central divisions of old became the Northern divisions of today). It also helped to clean up some of the regional inconsistencies of the past. For example, I am quite sure that Atlanta was in the NFC West previously.

so they were expanisions then the browns and the texans, were they the last 2 new editions then, yeah i never quite understood some of those divisions but the states is a big place and you have to keep rivalries going if you ask me,it's what makes sport

UUggghh, the ravens are probably one of the most disliked AFC teams because they usually were a boring defense only team. Now that defense is becoming less focused on all around the league they are finally changing.

Interesting enough ,the NHL is looking to expand by two teams all the time, and the main canadates still seem to be Los Angeles, Vegas and London. Personally, I do not wish for it because it will spread the talent margin thinner. But, LA and Vegas could use a team in the West. The rivalries in the AFC West are big even with large seperation in terms of distance becauser the Broncos, Raiders and Cheifs are some of the oldest teams and always been in the same division.

Fuck the Raiders, and Cheifs.

Looks like nobody really cared about Browns vs. Ravens. No new posts whatsoever.

The Ravens won as expected, so everyone who bothered to post a prediction got it right.

I watched the last 6mins of the game. Very exciting end.

so a franchise stays in the same division/conference regardless where they are in the country like the raiders who were LA when i was younger, although maybe the raiders have always been in california right? doing a quick google they started in oakland anyway

i know i've asked before last year but how can LA not have a football team, surely there is money in it somewhere being one of the major cities in the usa

The Cowboys have the #1 ranked defense in the league and the Bears offensive line is offensive.  It doesn't take a genius to see how that might turn out.  Also, the Bears usually are terrible on MNF.

Oh, and I always cheer for the Browns over the Ravens because of the history.  It's a shame that the Browns are have been so dismal since their "return" to the NFL.
