You missed the game and the gifs earlier?
Anyways, during hail Mary end of the game like throws towards the endzone refs do not call interference for almost anything. Still it has long been clear Tate wrestled the ball out of Jennings hands in a very fast crash and scuffle. The main problem to me is that the ref confirmed it as a touchdown when everyone else sees it is not a touchdown in slow motion.
Seriously, I wonder if the refs are sick of the hell they faced these three weeks in so many different games the ref wanted out so made such a bad decision the league would have to pay the refs more.
Edit: Sports threads need to be more lenient on bans here because there is a lot more reason to get pissed off than in some console war arguement.

I missed the game, because it was in the middle of the night. Every now and then there will be a Night game that I watch, but it needs to be a big game. Certain types of gifs stutter on this Macbook for some reason, so the Youtube video was the first time I got a clean look on the whole incident.
Maybe the NFL should overrule the call of the referees and give Green Bay the win, but that would open up discussions for other games as well.
Regarding bans, sports and console wars aren't any different. In both cases there are people who root really hard for their team and/or against others.
EDIT: This shouldn't be misunderstood. I am not calling for bans in this thread, just pointing out that sports and video game fans aren't different.

The NFL would never, and I strongly emphasize never overrule a call made on the field after the fact. One, it opens the door for fans to start claiming many games should be changed after the fact. And, it would also show horrible PR as fans would claim favoritism to the Packers. The Packers are a polarizing team at it's highest and many love them, but many more dislike or hate them. They would not risk shaking up the system like that ever, this is not the World Wrestling Entertainment.
Well, I am saying that there is more benefit towards pride in ones' team than pride in ones' product, as a team can represent and do so much for a community at large while there is no real unifying and mutual benefit to getting mad over what others say about a corporation that is far from benefiting any community, it mostly benefits itself alone aka capitalism is benefited alone . But, that is a discussion for a wall or another thread.
