I needed a reason to post this, but I cannot take any of the 2-0 teams serioiusy until they have played a good team. Meaning the 49ers and the Falcons.

Are you guys happy with how they are or should they be awarded to the top 5 each week? Either in a "6, 4, 3, 2, 1" or "7, 5, 3, 2, 1" fashion, because winning the week should definitely stand out; if it were to be implemented, I would personally lean towards the "7, 5, 3, 2, 1" setup. PP being awarded to beyond the top 5 isn't up for debate, because as Week 2 has shown, there aren't necessarily all that many people who achieve a positive record. On the plus side, this would allow more people to attain PP each week, leading to a lot loss tied positions in the overall standings and making things more interesting. On the other hand, it's poised to make things more lopsided in the playoffs when the tie-breaking procedure comes into play. Although it may only seem fair that somebody who did clearly better in predicting 256 games has a notable advantage when only four games have to be predicted. If you guys want to see the PP being extended to the top 5 players each week, then the first two weeks will of course be adjusted accordingly. So what do you think? |
I say we go with what you have and if you think it may be too lopsided then just reduce the points awarded to maybe 3,2,1.

No kidding. I didn't expect the Panthers to help New York so much though.
