The Seahawks are better, because they handed the 49ers a rough beating in Week 16. It's that simple. Forget about all the other games this season, it's all about Week 16.

makes sense... but wasnt the niners missing one of their key defenders and the seahawks were fighting for a playoff spot

49ers are going to win because they have the same gold color that the saints have and they are playing in New Orleans.... And they haven't won a super bowl since 94.... whats 94 backwards? 49!

That's one dumb reason to think that they are going to win it all.  Reason they won't win it all is because they aren't even the best team in their division that would be the Seatle Seahawks.  The Ravens already dispersed Peyton Manning and Tom Brady plus Andrew Luck I doubt they are going to have much trouble with Colin Kaepenick.

Yes, the Seahawks are better that's why they're back in Seattle while the 49ers are preparing for the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks are a great home team, which is why they went undefeated at home. On the road they weren't as great though. They lost to 49ers at Candlestick. The 49ers took care of Rodgers (at home and away), Brees (away), Brady (away), and somebody the Seahawks couldn't put awa,y Matt Ryan on the road.

Going by your argument the Rams are the best team in NFC West as they went 4-1-1 in the NFC West. Their only loss was to Seattle on the road. They beat Seattle at home, went 1-0-1 against the 49ers and 2-0 vs Arizona. In case you forgot the 49ers won the NFC West.

I like how you say Ravens dispersed those QB's yet ignore the niners dismantled the Packers and beat atlanta. On top of that if you think I was serious you need to get your head checked. And another thing, your reasons for think the Ravens would win are just as stupid as mine. At this level both teams are viable options for the title. Saying one will win over the other for any reason is silly. Especially since the QB's you listed are completely different than Kaepenick.

Also, I have no clue where you got seahawks are better...

Look at the regular season matchup the Seahawks outplayed the 49ers in both games even though the 49ers got lucky and won the first matchup.  Also if it wasn't for poor clock management and a poor decision to go for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking a field goal the Seahawks could have easily beat the Falcons last week by four points also.

I could say if it werent for awful referring the seahawks wouldnt even have a playoff spot. so.... I could also say that the field goal would have probably changed the way Atl played and their play calling as well... but lets act like the game would have been played out the exact same but with one change...

Sure, the 49ers won the NFC West, but they couldn't win three of their divisional games while Seattle won three of their divisional games. If that doesn't make it clear that the Seahawks are a better team than the 49ers, then I don't know what will.

maybe if they won the super bowl

ot at least beat atl

Just winning your division doesn't automacitally make you the best team in your division.  2010 Bears ring a bell that just one of many examples where the best team didn't win the division.

and ignore the rest of his points... good job.  Anyway the seahawks were really 9-7 team since refs gave them the packers game

49ers barely tied the Rams and they should have lost to Seahawks in the first matchup if anything the 49er are even more lucky then the Seahawks for making into the playoffs.

oh i get it... if these scenarios are applied to just the seahawks they are the best team... however, the other teams dont get the same benefits... we can change the outcome of the seahawks games by changing the play calling but at the same time... 49ers barely tied the rams... lol

I actually watched the game and I stand by what I said they barely tied the Rams.  To further proof my point look what happed three weeks later.
