Yes, the Vikings win! and that makes the 49ers the #2 seed and they get the bye!

Peterson came up 9 yards short of the record, but had a great day with 199 yards rushing and a nice run to setup the easy field goal at the end.

Vikings and the Packers play again next week in Lambeau. Seahawks will play either the Skins or Cowboys.

Looks like Reid is out as the Eagles coach as well.

That 3rd&11 conversion should have been never allowed to happen. I'd rather have the Bears in the playoffs, because I am not overly confident that the Packers can stop Peterson in their third game against each other either.

Now Romo must win. My season in the prediction league is at stake. If the Cowboys lose, I'll become a Texan.

I'm not sure how they left him so wide open. Definitely a blown play by the defense.

Normally, I'd rather have the bears in than the always dangerous AP, but in this case the Vikings win helped out my 49ers in getting the #2 seed and the bye week. The 49ers are still banged up, so the extra week off will definitely help them. Justin Smith has been hurt since the NE game and hopefully he'll be back for the playoffs.

The Packers just can't seem to stop AP, he had 210 yards in their first meeting and 199 yards today. He'll probably be fired up for the playoffs as well.

I wouldn't put my trust in Romo as he usually disappoints.

I know that Romo usually blows it. Last year the Cowboys were in the same situation in Week 17 and they got crushed by the Giants. But this year will be different. It has to be!

EDIT: After ten minutes in the first quarter, I am beginning to lose hope. Updated thread title.

Watching the game and Romo has 2 picks already?!? I'm guessing over 4 picks today for Romo. Seems very probable...

Vikings win and make it to the playoffs :)

But Adrian Peterson missed the NFL rushing record by 9 yards :(

Screw the Bears for choking when the chips were down. And screw the Packers for blowing for us too.. This sucks. At least Lovie will probably be kicked to the curb. Long overdue. Can't wait to see the Vikings, and eventually the Packers get bounced in the playoffs.

Seahawks vs. Redskins, rookie vs. rookie. Can't wait 'til next week. Btw: I think I won this week.

Hey, not bad to finally have a win for me for the first time all year in the league.

Congrats to all those still riding into the playoffs. Only 12 of 32 make it so it is a big accomplishment.

Just have to give a shout out to my fellow Denver fans Insomniac and Shakarak. We be riding high. We have not seen a season like this since Elway left. Long live the Broncos Nation.

Three out of 12 playoff teams are quaterbacked by rookies this year.  That has got to be a record.

Now I have yet another reason to dislike the Packers. What really pisses me off is that I'm pretty sure that they'll beat the Vikings next week. Stupid cheeseheads.

Oh, and what a loser Tony Romo is... That's why I picked against him.

Feels good, man.
