Well, I haven't seen this question yet, and I'm fairly bored at work :P So how about it!

I can type an average of 80-115 words per minute accurately. 80 on some of those stupid tests with the bizzare capitals and odd punctuation >_>; but for simple idle chat I can hit out about 115, or so some tests say.

Does anyone here know a good typing tester site? 

I typed this post in about 8 seconds.

The last time I was tested, I did 95 WPM with 100% accuracy in a 3-minute test (backspacing allowed). That was close to 10 years ago, though.

Do you know of a good one? I've taken like 3, and they all seem to be fairly random in terms of how they grade performance, accuracy, speed etc. Plus some have really F*cked up dialogue boxes, while some are just stupid xD

I just took the one at www.typingtest.com

I chose the 2 minutes test, 1 minute seemed too short. On the default text, I made 63 WPM because I didn't realize that you couldn't go back to edit the previous after pressing the spacebar.

Then I took the second text ("The Enchanted Typewriter" or something like that), with 2 minutes too, and the result was:

Net Speed: 78 WPM (words/minute)
Accuracy: 96%
Gross Speed: 81 WPM (words/minute)

PS: English is not my native language, which shouldn't help in this case ;)

 Nice! I'll take it when my boss isn't around :P Speed typing isn't exactly part of my job xD ahhh man heated Forum topics get me in trouble sometimes :D

I work around computers atleast 8 hours a day, last time i checked it was around 180 words per minute.
