Is it me or does the Upad pad screen look a lot better than the main screen? (more vibrant) I remember post a report a while back about the Upad being faster than the T.V. but it seems that its better looking as well.

Yes. Developers say things all the time. Quite often it's just hyping their own game. The only way to know for sure is to have a hands-on with the game. I love FIFA, but the developers have made many empty promises in the past. Almost every version had game breaking bugs and glitches, even though they promised to have fixed it (although FIFA 12 was mostly bug-free, finally).

Those are completely different issues and problems. Which version looks better doesn't take rocket science, expecially considering that they know how many resources and how much detail they physically put into each game. They are the only ones who could know that.

Getting hands on doesn't help because most people are going to interpret the graphics based on everything but the graphics. The only observation that matters is that of the people who made it when saying which has the most detail. What they say is absolute fact that only they could know.

I think the WiiU controller could make for some really interesting changes in the Fifa formula - if it could become the definitive version, then it could definitely attract a certain type of gamer.
