These two Japanese PS3 exclusives seem to have been in development forever. At this point, no one knows when they'll release, if at all. So because their releases are so unpredictable, I thought it'd be interesting to see which people thought would release earlier.

Which will release first?

We might be lucky and get a couple new FFvXIII screenshots as a bonus feature for getting all the trophies/achievements FFXIII-3. As for TLG, is it even in production still?

The developers say it's in production. But of course simplying saying something does not make it true.

I'd say Versus. When Wada deconfirmed the cancellation rumors he mentioned that he just came back from the regular Versus XIII meeting and that if we were to see the in game city we would be knocked off our feet. That just seems more substantial than anything we've gotten from Team Ico.

The PS4 will release first

Id say Versus XIII simply because weve seen a bit more of it

Im not sure if The Last Guardian even exists anymore though that would be terrible if its been canceled.

If FFv13 is still in development I think it's going to get a name change and go multiplatform on PS3, Xbox 360, and maybe PC or even Wii U.

As for The Last Guardian. Best case scenario: It get pushed on to the PS4 like Ico got pushed from the PSX to the PS2. Worst case scenario: It's already canceled. At this point I'm 50/50 as to which scenario it is.

So in my opinion the first out of the unlikely gate will be FFv13 under a new name.

I think FFV13 for it has been in development for over 6 years, and full development for like a year. I think Agent is just as likely as TLG.

VersusXIII would be my guess but I feel like a coin flip would be the best method to answer this question.

Who says they can't release while the PS4 is out !?

I highly doubt the PS4 will be compatible with the PS3 so either title going next gen is improbable.

If the games end up good, I don't mind waiting. FF XII came out late and it was the game of the generation for me.
