Vs13 is held up for a myriad of reasons, and none of them being FF14, so I'm not sure the correlation. KH3 is being held up by Vs13, but they've still managed to make a dozen meh spinoffs. We'll just disagree on TWEWY as I think it's most overrated JRPG this generation, without question (although, Skyrim and Fallout 3 certainly comes close)

I do it very funny that you think a FF7 remake would be cheap and easy to do. I don't see how it could ever be cheaper than any of the previous projects. It would be a massive undertaking as they would only remake it if the remake was perfect. So rather than potentially disappoint fans (which will happen as FF7 is mostly popular solely due to nostalgia) they can re-release the PC version with HD resolution. That is the only inexpensive way for that game to be seen in a new capacity.

You're not aware that Square Enix just released a statement saying that they pooled their resources to fixing Final Fantasy XIV, and subsequently all other major releases were pushed back by 2-3 years?  Coulda swore that just happened.

i was not aware, but it doesn't change the fact your response is a exagerrated "I don't like it and it's stupid, so it's wrong".

Not at all.  my assertions are pretty widespread truths, and can be backed up with numbers.  XIII-2 sold only 2.5 million, which is a huge step down from XIII, and even a step down from what is widely considered a horrible game (FFX-2)...that actualyl got better reviews than the best version of XIII.  XIV is a disaster that people aren't buying into and has cost the company time and effort.  

Doesn't matter where you go, people are practically screaming "WE want Kingdom Hearts III" in unison.  I mean, Birth by sleep and Dream Drop Distance were both good games, but it;s always "They're good, but bring us KHIII".  people are still eagerly awaiting vsXIII but there's been no real news about it for years.  People have been vocally begging for a VII remake ever since the PS3 demo.  If you disagree with any of this then you're blind.

No, it's exactly what a truth is.  the truth is that most gamers agree with those statements.  it's not a fact, as it's not a hard, undeniable statement, but it certainly is the truth.

Truth and fact are necessarily intertwined; people agreeing with you does not make for a truth unless you are talking about a statement about a statement, which is self-referential to the point of absurdity.

"Many people agree with me" is a true statement

"Square-Enix has lost touch with the fans" is not, because there are many people who greatly enjoy their latest output - which makes them the fans, not you. Even if that were not the case, it remains that those people enjoy the games, so a statement like "Square-Enix has lost touch with the fans" has to be properly contextualized according to time period and demographic before it can be accepted as true. You have not done that.

fanboy has been deemed an insult so I'm sorry but I gotta lock this thread. It's basically like "The Asshole Thread" because although you may intend for it to be just people talking about how they themselves can be assholes it will almost always quickly turn into someone saying the other is an asshole, basically the whole thread's concept is flawed and since you didn't get permission from the mods to have a thread that by its nature breaks rules I just gotta lock it.
