I wonder how resident evil operation racoon city can sell higher than dragon dogma ~_~ That game is garbage and a dissapointment to even call the name resident evil...might as well call it gears of evil.

This is how you make a sales thread on financials. Take note:

I definetly will not. First of, he forgot to put a source and second, I'd rather give you the info straight in your face so you can compare directly with chartz numbers. :/

His mistake of not putting the source is much less grave than you not putting ANY content whatsoever.
Don't expect the community to reciprocate.

I think different, giving the source is far more important than just some text and numbers without anything to back up in the OP. I can atleast back up the numbers with a source straight from Capcom. The sales forum isn't that active anymore anyway, looking at all the last comments in the forum.

I love that Capcom shipment numbers page (you know, the numbers that really count). Wish all companies would do the same.
Monster Hunter 3G at 1600k - and growing still at full price - is amazing. It'll most likely reach the Wii game (that had and international release) and if released west definitely pass some of the PSP games. For a port, that's pretty nice!

Those who are interested should know that Nintendo posts all of its financials on its website. So in that case the source was questionably mandatory. So I stand by this point. Even the gaf thread on this posted the actual article so as to not make the OP a link post.
I won't disagree on your last sentence because it's fair (very refreshing).
Here, I'll inject some content:
| Net sales | Operating income | Ordinary income | Net income | |
| Million Yen | Million Yen | Million Yen | Million Yen | |
| 3 months ended June 30, 2012 | 18,620 | 2,669 | 2,209 | 1,320 |
| 3 months ended June 30, 2011 | 11,953 | 775 | 546 | 338 |
| Net sales | Operating income | Ordinary income | Net income | Earnings per share of common stock |
|
| Million Yen | Million Yen | Million Yen | Million Yen | Yen | |
| Year ending March 31, 2013 | 105,000 | 15,800 | 15,700 | 9,800 | 170.19 |

1. Results for the 1st quarter ended June 30, 2012 (from April 1, 2012 to June 30, 2012)
2. Forecast for the Fiscal Year ending March 31, 2013

Agree, we just assume kowens numbers to be real because he's been doing those threads. But what if someone else done that, slightly changed numbers? :/
