Well back in the day it was unheard of that the spiky blue hedgehog would appear on a Nintendo system. Obviously a lot has happened since then, and Sonic and his chums have appeared on quite a few games and spin offs on Nintendo consoles and handhelds. My question to you guys..which do you think have been the best. My top 3

1- Sonic Colors (Wii)

2- Sonic Rush (DS)

3- Sonic Heroes (GC) - yes i really did like this one.

I agree Spurge, Sonic generations should have been on Wii, which would have easily outsold the others. Any people that state the Wii wouldnt be able to handle it are talking rubbish, all the 3D sonic games on the Wii have graphics that are on a par or as good as generations. Colors being one of the better looking Wii games...Bad move by Sega on that one im afraid.

check the sales it has sold brilliantly, Generations didnt need the Wii. WOuld have been nice

OT Sonic Advance 1-3, honorably mention Sonic Colors

There's been some good titles for portable - but no so much on home console. Sonic Adventure 1/2 were decent ports but the storybook titles were pretty bad - especially the one with the talking sword! Its the second sonic title I just couldnt keep playing (Sonic the Hedgehog PS3/XB being the first). Sonic Unleashed wasnt so bad minus the night time levels and colours was OK too but in my opinion not as good as Generations or SA.

I forgot about heroes but now you mention it that was a decent Sonic title, why did so many people dislike Heroes? But the ones that really stand out our the handheld games, I still go back regularly to play them. The advanced games are at least as good as the original 5 MegaDrive/CD titles (any sonic fan who hasnt played them should).

My top 3

1) Sonic Ad 2
2) Sonic Ad 3
3) Sonic Rush

1.5 isn't really "brilliant" for a Sonic game. It's somewhat higher wit hthe PC sales, but for Sonic that's still pretty anemic.

To be on-topic:

The Genesis games on the Virtual Console, huh-doy.

And Sonic Adventure 2 battle. At least one third of it was excellent.

The best Sonic games are the classic ones, therefore Sonic Mega Collection for the Gamecube is the best Sonic game Sega has released for a Nintendo console.

Alot of people played the PS2 version which was atrocious
