94.5% of the inhabitants of Nauru, a small island in the pacific, are classed as overweight or obese. This is blamed on the fact that a lack of land has forced them to import fast food from other countries, but also that obesity is seen as a sign of wealth in the country. Over half the 10,000 population have type-2 diabetes.
