Orlando shouldn't be as bad unless everyone was told to step up due to the Olympics. (Which wouldn't make much sense for America but still...)

MCO is usually very easy to get through when I go.

Citizens don't have to go through the same rigmorale as international visitors, so you'll have a different experience.

Orlando is certainly much better than Miami, though.

Oh.

Have you already gone to Orlando or is that next?

Already gone. Miami was literally an interconnecting flight. We saved over £1,000 for going indirect, compared to flying straight to Orlando.

The problem is that the connecting flight was taking off 2 hours after we landed in Miami... thanks to the TSA, we missed that flight. American Airlines put us straight on the next flight, though (which, fortunately, was only an hour and a half later).

I don't know, Sam. I've seen your FB profile pic. You have a very "terroristy" vibe

Haha, not going to lie, I literally thought my Facebook antics might have been a part of this.

I do own an Anarcho-Capitalist page on Facebook... people who might not fully understand our principles might associate that with violence.

Well SamuelRSmith has been terrorizing Vgchartz for quite some years now..... >_>

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I assume you gave them a good scolding? They should've been forced to reimburse you for the missing of your flight imo.

He was "given" another flight.

For free I hope...

I wonder if it was just because of all the traffic for the Olympics. I'm going to be flying to the other side of the country (San Francisco) in about 3 weeks from Japan. I hope they don't give me any trouble, though I am a US citizen (with a US passport.)

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

They probably found online what you have to say about Obama.  (Not being serious btw).

They kinda have a point tho. Your name really is ''too common'' and suspiciously unsuspicious

Well, here's the thing, they didn't tell me why I was being detained... until I was allowed to go. All we knew was that they had confiscated my passport, and we were being held in a room with criminals, illegal immigrants, and the rest... so I didn't realize it was something as pathetic until they let us go.

We missed our flight by the skin of the teeth, and we were rushing (because we knew how little time we had), and kicking off would have certainly set us back some time.

Had there been longer between our connecting flights, we would have kicked off.

American Airlines just gave us the next flight for free. I actually really rate their service highly (first time flying with them - most legroom, friendliest staff, and best quantity/quality I've experienced - plus they were significantly cheaper than anyone else. - major complaint: /terrible/ film selection, though they said they're upgrading their entertainment systems).

Yep, free, and they gave us special boarding passes that let us skip all the queues.
