Bugs are annoying. Loving your survival gear.

I hate bugs and I feel terrible for you. I dislike being sweaty and hot (I've always preferred the cold). Luckily for me there are no bugs where I live on the coast of California. :P

How do bugs get through your window screens, though? It sounds to me like you need new screens that don't have holes. They can't be that expensive.

I have a metal bat in my room in case the action gets too hot. I only use it when they want me to.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Go to the store and buy some bug repellent with the highest deet % possible (generally the cheap sucky stuff has like 5-15% and the best stuff only available in outdoors stores have as high as 99.9%). It will make you stink a little but the bugs won't touch you then.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Aren't those pesticides?!? That sound like a bad idea.

This is the UK.... not many people have Air Con (which is why my windows are wide open) simply because for the 3-4 weeks a year it might be needed it would be a ridiculous expense to have it installed in more than 1 room (except little portable things, but they aren't great and also require floor space, which UK homes are sparse on, and an available plug socket) as our houses are made of bricks, including most inner walls.

Similarly I don't think I have ever seen a house with window screens other than the wooden slat kind (which are more of a decorative feature than anything else)

Generally I swat anything like a fly, and bigger things like moths or crane fly get caught and chucked back out the window.

It was originally tested as a pesticide a long time ago.  Regardless, why does it sound like a bad idea?  It is in just about every mosquito spray available in the US because it legitimately works.  As long as it isn't used excessively (such as may be necessary for somebody who works in a bad area outside), nothing bad will happen to you if you use it.

Misleading title, I was expecting something like this, http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=145749

I always make sure to kill every fly who dare to enter my room. You can't negotiate with those monsters.

Very few bugs where I live. There were mosquitoes until a few years back since we live more or less near a small lake but some public health issues with dengue fever made them be hunted until near-extinction.

Anyways the last year when I took a few weeks on Florida... man!
