Forums - Nintendo - Metroid prime trilogy

having played the gamecube versions and the trilogy version, i certainly like the motion controls better, but i think all shooters are better with motion. With that said, the cube controls are fine as well.

This is one of the only things missing from my collection. I regret not picking it up when it released but honestly, I'm not a fan of Prime Trilogy gameplay. Found Other M to be much better. However strickly for collection purposes I'd love of copy of trilogy.

Why did Nintendo stop production of Metroid Prime Trilogy?

I'll tell you why. Because if you didn't buy Metroid Prime Trilogy within a week of it being released, you don't deserve to enjoy this amazing trilogy with full motion controls.

Know your place and hang your head in shame!

Ah, you're right. Not having this lovely title on your shelf is punishment enough. Forget I said anything.

Obly MP1 and MP2 are worth it imo, 3 really doesnt hold well.

When I replayed MP1&2 with motion controls, it was so much better than the original. Apart weapon switching.

Pacing of MP1&2 awful ??? I disagree plainly. Unless you wander around for a first playthrough. MP2 dark keys run using dark visor is a bit painful, but it forces you to grab all items in the game ^^.

If your really set on buying the game, I got my copy online from CEX (assuming you are living in the UK), it was cheaper for me but can be bought for £32 if you want it badly :)

cex, do they sell all used games?

I paid I htink 108AUD for mine.

worth every cent. The added moption controls plus supporting Retro is always nice. Means Nintendo will not sell them liek they did RARE and we will get some more decent games on WiiU.
