ohh maybe we still get our medal i hope so damn! lol

Do you mean in hammer throwing? Don't think so. Heidler was deprived of a bronze medal (she was on silver withe the throw that wasn't measured, but the Polish starter surpassed her; I think Heidler would would have won bronze).

she deserves silver or bronze but without that throw she is place eight

€dit: ok they did count that throw now and she got her deserved medal

All is good, it was just was confirmed that Heidler had  the 3rd longest throw and will get bronze. Gold goes to the ex-doper from Russia.

Ye but when your country wins a gold and silver in that event, you really don't care. Like I'm sure you wouldn't care if Britain won a gold and silver.

Haven't you guys understood that Maryam Jamal from Bahrain went into the lead right from the start on purpose and tried to control the race with extremely slow pace in order to hold the 4 Turkish and Russian contenders behind her and win with her strong finish? Even though her tactic failed, this was clearly a tactical race, that's why it was so slow. The Turkish girls (#1 and 2 in Europe Championship) didn't fall for it.

They did fall for it. All of them did. Its just that it suited the Turks. So slow it was embarrassing.

No, they didn't fall for it. They watched and controlled Jamal from behind all through the race and then surpassed her. In the end they were both too strong for her and Jamal's tactic failed. This wasn't embarassing at all to watch, this was an interesting race with tactics and counter-tactics. This isn't the first time in a sports thread that I notice that you don't completely understand the sports events you watch.

Great high jump EDIT: pole vault competition: silver and bronze for Otto and Holzdeppe from Germany, but Lavillenie from France looked a bit stronger than both in all of his attempts and eventually is the deserved champion.
