Meta is the use of outside knowledge within the game.
For example nens argument against noc was that half voteless could not exist given that there already was a voteless and ff as a counter.
Or gor example nen saying that im a monk from epicmafia and saying im trying to hurt town. In this he was uding an assumption and outside knowledge to justify a vote.
It is also meta to say stefl is scum being the only vanilla townie.
Meta sometimes works and sometimes doesnt but the thing that it ALWAYS is, is showing who is looking for evidence where there may not be any.
Remember that wonks evidence on me was strongly based on his case that voteless doesnt make sense and that im playing a poor voteless. While his meta was correct, it is more important to note that he resorted to meta instead of finding evidence to support his vote.
This indicates a lack of scumhunting.
Similarly for nen most of his case was that i was some weird monk role. He has no other evidence to use so he must resort to meta to create a plausible situation in which his vote makes sense.
Stefl conversely hasnt said much so is very difficult to read. Someone who doesnt talk doesnt leave evidence to use.
Another meta is saying "nen acts like this when town". That is outside information that may or may not apply to this game. Because it has the possibility to be wrong it can be used to plausibly convince town of a situation that does not exist.
evidence MUST come from in game action, not from tgeories that only might be true.
