Don't live your life trying to please a God. Live your life in a way that makes you happy, provided that that doesn't hurt someone else. Be kind, charitable, meet people, learn about the world. Life is short. Too short to be spending in a church. Just my opinion

None :P

Human beings have not, will not, and cannot know the devine, or the higher powers if you'd prefer, the same way a fish cannot comprehend what is outside its fish bowl. Now keep in mind, I am not implying there IS no god or higher powers, I am merely saying it is not possible for us to know it, let alone know of it in great detail like most religions would have you believe.

I'd say Islam is more correct than Christianity for sure. The Quran has never been altered since it was conceived, unlike the bible which went through numerous revisions.

Go to the religion you think that relates most to you. Im a christian myself but I never really became a christian till I fully accepted Jesus Christ.

Go to the religion that suits you most. Any God would not want you to be in their religion if you dont accept them wholeheartedly.

Yay!!!

I'm glad that you want to find out more about the right way of life. Personally I was born a muslim, but I always wanted to understand my faith truly myself and not just accept my parent's faith blindly. So I read the Quran completely and much of the reasons, etc behind its rulings, and I'm proud to say I'm muslim. Recently I've been reading more about the Christian and Jewish theologies as well to get a good comparison between the religions.

I'll say a few things from an Islamic perspective to argue the case of Islam. People tend to say why accept one religion and not the others? But Islam is the only religion where you accept all the prophets from the other Abrahamic religions; if you don't you are not Muslim. For example, Jews consider Moses (PBUH) as their prophet, and in Islam Moses is considered one of the greatest prophets of God. In fact the most talked about individual in the Quran is Moses, even though the Quran was sent through prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Similarly we also accept and love Jesus Christ (PBUH) and his mother Mary. He is also considered another of the five main prophets in Islam; it's just we don't attach divinity to him like Christians do, the reasons of which requires a bit more explanation. There is an entire chapter in the Quran named after Mary which explains the story of Jesus Christ's birth and the trials and tribulations his mother faced.

A lot of people tend to believe that Islam started with Muhammad, but Islam explains that throughout the ages whatever prophet was sent, they all preached the same simple message of there is one god, worship him only. And that is the one core belief in Islam that makes one a muslim.

Either way, I hope you will take your time in reading more about Islam (if possible through the Quran). People tend to say religion has no place for intellect, but I'm a student of Physics myself and using your logic is one of the key ways of understanding a religion properly. Just go in with an open mind and learn it from its source. Personally I believe the Islamic message is clear, concise, easy to understand, takes the best from the other religions and makes them even better, and I hope you will find the same. If you want to learn more about Islam in a simple way though, I would suggest you watch "The Deen Show" which is geared towards explaining the core tenets of Islam to ones not familiar with it. Finally, God knows best :)

Unfortunately no religion can be right by merit, but by accident only.

The idea that we should respect all opinions about religion equally is wrong (and for you politically correct people, I don't mean "in my opinion" in this instance, I actually mean this as a fact), much the same you don't accept all opinions about the shape of the Earth to be equally valid (i.e. round vs. flat).

All religions are fundamentally wrong, but so is atheism, though not as wrong. You don't have to choose a religion, it is much better for you to ignore them all and carry on as an agnostic/atheist.

wheres none there all stupid

You may want to watch "John Safarn VS God" where he goes to try out all the worlds major religions to find a suitable one for him. It may help you make up your mind.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
