Forums - Nintendo - need RPG sugestions for nintendo consoles

ok, so i've beaten almost everything i own and i'm looking for a new game.

I'd like to get a action-RPG, but i don't have a clue what to get. Anything for GC, Wii, DS, or GBA as i don't have my PS2 with me (at parents house) and it's almost broken completely.

I'm looking for a game similar to Tales of Symphonia, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy:CC, ect.. something with hack/slash type battles, but RPG elements.

I know that the next Tales game is coming, but I'm looking for something that is out now, or very soon (2-3 weeks)

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

How about Lunar Knights for the DS?

Hates Nomura.

Shining Soul II for the GBA is also good if you like dungeon crawlers...

Not 2-3 weeks but end of February Dragon Quest Swords and Baroque come out on Wii.

You can't go wrong with Golden Sun or its sequel for GBA.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt

Children of Mana for the DS.

Why do you like such terrible games? Lunar Knights is the game you want for the DS. It is amazing beyond belief.

Well, there is Zelda, which is a hack-n-slash game with RPG elements...

-Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for GBA
-Castlevania games

Also Elite Beat Agents. It's not an RPG at all, but everyone with a DS should own that game

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

If you can stomach an average turned-based battle system, Skies of Arcadia has a lot of great things going for it. :)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Hey, Skies of Arcadia's battle system has more depth than is apparent at first glance. Don't be hatin'. :)

Real time RPGs -> Zelda, Children of Mana (not bad by the way), Lunar Knights, Castlevanias, FF:CC (Gamecube)

Turn Based RPGs -> Final Fantasy III, Luminous Arc, Fire Emblem

What about Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia and Soulblazer? Those are quite the Secret of mana Style (and similar to Zelda).
