So with all the doom and glory article's coming out for the WiiU, this is a way to keep track of all of them. So the object of this article is to post or copy and paste the Doom or Glory articles. This can be all glory or doom article's. So ps360 Glory/Doom articles welcome.

 We can than have discussions about these article's. What do you think is true, what is not and what your bets are on?

Thanks to Aielyn we are adding a rating system -5 to 5 scale. -5 meaning ultimate DOOM!! and  5 Meaning ultimate glory. Also you can copy and paste a article allowing people to quote there ratings to your post. You can also give your reasoning of why you gave it that rating?

You can also look at the rating system like this. -5 Fail, 5 Fact.  o being neither fact or fail or just not sure at all. going either way will lean you to those two decisions.

Man I wish people did this in the DS/PSP days. I remember all those analysts saying their days are over and sony will take control. I even remember that analyst who posted his five year prediction and he had the psp winning by like 40 million. lol good times...good times

What I find hilarious is that all these analysts that predicted this and were wrong, tried to act like they knew the DS was going to beat it. XD

Articles need to be given ratings based on doom and glory levels.

I'd suggest a -5 to 5 scale. -5 means Nintendo's going to die within months of releasing the Wii U, 5 means that Sony and MS are going to give up against Nintendo before they even release their consoles. And of course, 0 means that Nintendo will do decently well, but not exceptionally well.

And can I suggest that Pachter comments simply be banned entirely? After all, his comments can usually be given a rating of -7 on my -5 to 5 scale.

I'm going with doom article first. Which basically states that the graphics will be sub par to Ps360. Now I think this is way premature. I think nintendo will just out do both by a little bit. Here is where this all came about from.

I will add this to the top and that we can also add other doom and glory article's from other consoles. I think we must not ban Pachter because it's just fun to rip on him.

Well this is where I have to laugh at the analyst and how do they get those jobs anyway. Can I fill out a application somewhere. I don't care if  site's hate me if i'm making big cash off of nothing. I'm sure this is there thought. They all psychic hotline and just run with it or maybe they should do this, it could turn out better then they expect.  I give it a -5 because they where totally off.

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter has predicted that Microsoft's next generation console will follow the smartphone business model. The console itself will be cheap, but users will have to purchase a subscription.

"I’m pretty confident that in the US Microsoft is going to partner with a cable TV provider, so I expect that the console will be priced like a smart phone," said Pachter. "I expect you’ll be paying $99 for the console with a cable TV subscription."

He continued by making another bold prediction that the console will be a Smart TV and will use SmartGlass day one.

"Console will have to be multiple purpose devices, though. The Xbox 720, this is my prediction, is going to be your television as well. You’ll be able to tune into television through it. You wont need a 'smart TV' when you’ve got an Xbox 720, it will be your television and your internet. It’s going to be open architecture and I think it’s real trick will be that one Xbox will be able to display television to as many screens as you have in your possession."
