Currently my favorite youtube video ever!

For the record, Superman was dead for like months and months. Fans (like me) were BEGGING for them to bring Superman back from the dead. We were guessing for months which one of the four Supermen was the real "Superman". I thought it was the Cyborg Superman, myself. Clark Kent came back almost halfway through the story. Turns out, the Eradicator stole his dead body and used it as a battery or something--hence his Superman-like appearance. When Superman came back to life, he had no powers and had to show that he was super, even when he was powerless.

So....the video is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from accurate. Especially when he says something about The Death of Superman pretty much breaking death in comics. Death was always broken in comics. The Marvel Universe died about five times before this and came back. It was no big deal. The vid is just funny as hell to me so I wanted to share it.

So wadda you think of the new 52 Superman?

@Nikkom With comics being so expensive these days, I quit buying most comics. As far as the New 52 comics, I only bought Justice League, Batman and Robin, Deathstroke, and Batman The Dark Knight. Justice League was so bad......so bad. It was so bad that I quit reading comics entirely. Superman was poorly represented in that one, imho.

I'll wait until they do a trade paperback of the first year or so of Action Comics. Until then, I don't have an opinion of this Superman, one way or the other.

I quit watching after the beginning because this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. The Phantom was the first superhero.

He gets virtually everything wrong because he's doing it from memory and he's a douche.  You have to overlook that kind of stuff to enjoy the video.

hmmm. I actually like Superman better in JL then in the first 10 Superman new 52 comic... so you better don't read them!
and yeah comics are getting expensive... I'm buying them digitally now

Okay.  I shall watch this video in it's entirety with this in mind. 

I'm glad that I gave it a second chance. It was relatively funny in parts.

Now Doomsday will always be the Hulk to me.
