I've always wondered why these games are on Playstation consoles only , since YS games were released on PC/Steam for awhile now

by the way, BUY FALCOM GAMES  (its FALCOM not FALCON Op) , they're the best.

Changed.

But it's a curious move, what's next, NIS games jumping the fence too? Nah, they're revealing 3 games for Playstation soon.

Really? They revealed 2 already :S are there 3 more?

uuh no where in that article does it say it will be on the Playstation, the 3 mentioned games in the article say "Unknown platform" o.O.

Today in Tokyo, Japanese game maker Nippon Ichi Software revealed a trio of new games.

One of the revealed titles was Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradokusu (The Paradox of God and the Fate Revolution). The game features character designs by Noizi Ito (of Haruhi Suzumiya fame), and follows a high schooler who suddenly turns into God and the seven angels as they make people's wishes come true.

The game is being handled by the Disgaea team. No platform was given.

The other two titles were Project: Arcadia. Little info was given about the game, save for the following catchphrases: "A princess!", "Side scrolling!", and "An exhilarating feeling!"

The "A" in "Arcadia" was highlighted in red.

The other game was Project: D, which is aiming at both old Nippon Ichi Fans and new ones. Like Project: Arcadia, this is a temp title, and it's certainly possible that the "D" could stand for Disgaea, Nippon Ichi's long standing series of tactical role-playing games. Release dates and platforms for both projects is currently unknown.

Um, well, considering they were revealed in Dengeki Playstation magazine..

Yeah, I was going to post this. And it's NIS, a very loyal playstation developer.

The best Nintendo can expect from them is a late port or something.

Another Exclusivity coming to an end? The 3DS sure is popular!

I'm surprised by this honestly. Especially after Falcom is already putting Ys IV on Vita (and the remake looks fantastic).

Falcolm is going multiplatform? Surely this isn't a good business decision. [/sarcasm]

Not really multiplatform as it's still an exclusive, just to a different handheld.

I've always why Falcom never jumped on the DS boat, I always assumed it was something to do with Sony. Despite having never played any of their games, I wish them the best of luck on both Sony and now Nintendo platforms

So it's pretty much the same strategy that Square-Enix emplyed for DS and PSP.

Personally I would rather have a Ys game on 3DS. TLoH games take a heck of an effort in order to localize.

It's worse in that Ys is gaining more and more traction in the US. TLoH was plagued with awful localiztion from Namco (seriously, one of the worst localizations I've played), and thus we got nothing for years until XSeed brought over Trails in the Sky.

I head that Xseed did I solid job with Trails, but I also remeber reading that it took them three years to get it done. :(
