Well If the Poms had an extra 300,000,000 people in their population, they might actually be good at sport.

Might......

The national sport of Britain would go from soccer to football. Do not worry it is a much funner game.

"funner".

The point about Americans' use of English is rather accurate. :P

I do not understand, the term funner ony means , more fun than...".

It's not really a word. The correct phrase is "more fun". As in "Do not worry, it is a much more fun game". "Funner" is only ever listed in dictionaries as "nonstandard", and it especially should never be used in formal writing.

It is a word in the American English dictionary of language evolved so it is accurate.

And as we've already established, Americans suck at English. That extends to American English dictionaries, too.

I am so glad you all agree football is "more fun," than soccer!!!

I feel I should point out that soccer is the only popular sport that can legitimately justify itself being called "football". Gridiron, on the other hand, involves the feet and ball making contact only very rarely, comparatively speaking.

Personally, I'm big on not using the word "football" for any of them, though, for two reasons. One, it becomes unclear unless you add qualifiers that just make it longer than the real names ("American Football" vs "Gridiron"). Two, I'm not a fan of any of those sports, really (if push came to shove, I'd play soccer over the others, though).

Fun fact: "Soccer" is actually used in England, too. Indeed, it comes from the phrase "Association Football", which is the full name for the sport.

I've tried watching American "Football" a few times.

Sorry but it's the worst sport I've ever seen......... maybe apart from basketball.

Point is though if you took America back as part of the Kingdom we would instantly make the sport more popular due to our population loving it.

@ Aielyn I use the term to make confusion on purpose, mostly for the lulz. Especially good when trying to annoy Rol!
