You lucky.... human being!! Curse you for not falling to the power of Nintendo and buying the 3DS early on. CURSE YOU!!!

I already have a 3DS but this thing makes me so jealous. The moment I see a demonstration video sporting Resident Evil: Revelations I will probably go and rob a drugstore to get my fix. Gawd damnit Nintendo, why are you doing this to me?????

Dude, the 3DS XL only lasts 30 minutes longer. I wanted at least double the battery life. And yeah, sure there's going to be a CPP for the XL, but untill Nintendo makes it a standard feature it's going to be rarely implemented in any significant way by developers.

Like I said, I'm going to get one becauce I'm done waiting for all the features I wante4d. I just hope that a year from after I buy the XL I don't regret it when Nintendo does double the battery life and add on a second stick.

I was actually thinking about getting one a few days before the XL was announced. Guess im just a lucky guy.

Of course you just KNOW they're going to make a new version of the smaller 3DS with all of the improvements that the XL has. That's how Nintendo rolls. I bought new DS every year for several years.

Think about it. The 3DS XL has a bigger screen and it still has 30 Min. more than the original 3DS. That's quite the improvement. Plus, I don't think Nintendo can do much better when the 3DS has better graphics than the DS and it has 3D. (PSVita's battery life is about the same, I doubt it could get better.)

I also doubt Nintendo'll ever give the 3DS another circle pad.

Actually, the 3DS XL has 1 hour and 30 mins more battery life than the original 3DS.

I want to pick up a 3DS XL soon, but first I need a job. Maybe I could think of something before then.

^^^^ If it really has 1hr and 30min more battery life, that is a significant improvement.

The only thing that kinda bothers me is that the resolution isn't increased, so it won't appear quite as sharp, but despite that, this redesign just looks beautiful. Even the larger size doesn't deter from its superiority, since it really doesn't seem much bigger or any heavier. Everything is improved so much over the original from the curved and stylish aesthetics to the superior buttons (particularly the start/select/home) that I've just gotta have one as soon as a color I want is available in the US.

The regular 3DS had an add-on accessory that gave you a second circle pad.  I wonder if the XL will be able to use that, or get its own.  Bonus points to anyone who can answer here regarding that.
