Did the DS piss off people even though it was released just 3 years after the GBA?

If they rebrnad it after that point to SONY.

it might sell a further 50million.

The depth of handheld gaming has changed drastically since then.  

Nintendo will eventually come up with a new model for the 3DS, but I don't think it will be anytime soon

My guess it will sell like 90-100 million tops.

Obsiously my preedictions are not taking into account wild and crazy scenarios like
- A new global economic crisis!
- An Apple handheld (if they had an iTouch with buttons, joysticks, triggers and a dpad, for the same price or a little better that what they have njow, they will certainly kill 3DS and Vita)
- Sony leaving the handheld market
- The world actually ends this year :D!

those things would really mess up my predictions lol



oh and another thing! I didnt give a number on Super Smash Bros 4 for the 3DS!
The series has grown with each iteration on consoles, but I dont know how this new game will perform, we need more details like knowing if the games will be the same (graphics, characters, stages, items, features), or if they will be different games with things in common (like using sprites instead of 3d characters for the 3DS, having different characters or even base the characters from the handheld games instead of the console games; etc).
I will give a guess and will say that the game will be a million seller, that it will sell between 5-10 million copies!

Number two and number four on your list are the least likely things to happen.

I think that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be massive. People at my work were talking about video games the other day, and four or five of the seven that were there (not including me), all massive "HARDKOR 4EVERZ" type gamers are buying 3DS' with NSMB2, they said that it looked innovative and appealed to their competitive natures, if Nintendo can pull in that crowd, as well as bringing back the casuals, it could be as big or bigger than the original. Whilst I'm here, I may as well make a few lifetime sales predictions :P

NSMB2- 28,500,000

SM3DL- 16,250,000

MK7- 22,750,000

KI:U- 4,500,000

Inevitable Pokemon Game- 24,570,000

MH3G- 6,500,000

MH4- 10,000,000

Pokemon Rumble Blast- 3,000,000

Paper Mario: Sticker Star- 5,750,000

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon- 5,100,000

I'll predict the 3DS' lifetime sales as being around 135 million, based on Mario+Pokemon+3rd Parties. It will be huge, no doubt, but I don't think it will be as big as DS is/was.

I think pigs will rain from the sky.

Care to make it something more than what you come up with in your thoughts?

I dont see any reason for nintendo to rush into a new handheld when the 3DS is beeing so sucessful.
