Wait, were you already informed that you were a compulsive janitor who would janitor all kills?

Why are you so curious about my role? Anyway, I assumed as much. Any kill that takes place or any lynch that takes place will be janitored. My PM didn't specifically say whether my vote had anything to do with janitored lynches, but I guess we could test it out. Do you really think Stefl would troll us like that though?

Tempted to vote for Soleron, the day is just dragging on, with practically nothing occurring, might as well kill the lurkers. How many scum you guys think we're dealing with here? 3? 4?

While it is true that mafia are most likely to be the ones to lurk, there is also a chance he is busy with other things. For all we know he could have an important role. Also, 25% of 13 is 3.25 which would normally be rounded down. It really depends on how powerful the town is, and with all the kills/lynches being janitored I would say 3 is more likely than 4.

4+11=13?

Nevermind, we could still test it, but the reason I asked was because I was wondering why you would have voted for noc. If my role was janitor, I wouldn't have voted on a lynch, but being that you were informed it doesn't matter. Like, a townie janitor should try to not lynch in the case that the vote was the janitoring factor, but if you were told that you janitor all deaths, then that takes that doubt out of the equation.

tl;dr I thought you might have slipped, but it doesn't appear so.

And yes, it's for the best that it's tested. The short days will ensure someone can still be lynched without a ton of support.

Wow. We really aren't getting anywhere. I would like everyone to make a list of the 3 people they are most suspicious of and possibly why.

Right now I am most suspicious of Linkz, Prof, and Pezus. For the same reasons I mentioned earlier.

....
YOU SHUSH YOUR MOUTH!
I'm good at math.

What I meant to say is, in a normal game, with no extra roles, a more balanced game would be 4 mafia with 13 players. The rule's around 30%, not 25%, I believe.

The three I am eyeing the most right now are Notstan, Soleron and Linkz.

Notstan - because he seems like he is in a hurry to end the second day before we have built much of an argument on anyone.

Soleron - (This is my weakest argument) Because a lot of you claim that scum tend to lurk in the dark during the day and say the bare minimum to try and not draw too much attention to them. Which seems like it would make a lot of sense for a larger game.

Linkz - Seems to be putting up a smokescreen by constantly talking about the possible roles and rules of this game and also talking about how people behaved in previous games. It feels like he wants to show he is contributing but by pushing attention onto the layout of the playing field so he looks like a guru and not scum.

I would like to hear more from Linkz and Soleron though so I can make a more informed decision.

Around the Network

Sorry I have been away I will be posting shortly

@ WiiBox3, I'm glad you asked me further about Pezuz, actually, because that got me to look at his posts, and to quickly summarize.... (stealing prof's idea...)

His day one posts:

- Intro post, makes a jokeful remark on spurge getting questioned. I ask him to elaborate, and he gives me list of spurge games where he's got questioned.
- FoS on Noctis for "always joking"
- Notes WiiBox3 absence - while the spurge questioning is going on.
             - near 3 page absence from pezuz -
-Comes back and defends himself against spurge, who claims he is being "overdramatic" with the list mentioned earlier.
-Joke post about being lover with spurge
-Wonders about time left
-Quick joke post about my avatar
-Votes Time Extension (NOTE)
-Tell me he voted time Extension, because I didn't catch it
-Thanks prof for a sarcastic summary of prof being a SK
-Various post argument with Mario of "possibility" that Wonk is lying about his roleclaim (NOTE)
-Wonders where Radish is
-Jab at Spurge for having a sucking phone that can't google search
-Three posts where he says Noctis is a better lynch, will vote Noctis, but only after Soleron and Radish show up. Says he will wait 10-15 minutes before giving his vote, and then says he will sleep. Last post of real day.
-Never posts again in the day, or actually goes through with his vote-  (NOTE)

OKAY, so, for the day 1 notes

Nearly ALL of his jokes were on line long, and a good number were jokes. This is normal for day 1, except that he did not engage with any of the main arguments going on in the game.

While ignoring the main arguments, he decided to take note on the lurkers. This is a very easy way to seem like you are contributing while not actually contributing anything. He then, voted time extension, which fits along the same lines. Wanting a time extension is a very townie move -- but by his post 1 history, he never made good use of it.

He is one of the main questioners of Wonk's roleclaim, but does not actually oppose it, but only says "oh yeah, he COULD be lying." He is taking the middle route, and playing it completely safe. If he is proven wrong, it will bring attention to him for opposing a main claim, if he is right, he would have agreed to earnestly, bringing attention to him for being mafia who is trying to look pro-town.

Mafia like to play it safe, no?

As for the final note, he falters to join the Noctis bandwagon. He half-assedly agrees on lynching Noctis, but never goes through with it. He is either really forgetful, or was playing it safe again. Waiting for the lurkers to join the discussion is a testimony to the latter.

DAY 2 posts

-Joke post about prof not being dead.
-Finally sees the light of Wonk's roleclaim. He guesses it is true.
-Is interested in Wonk's role.
-Acts angry at Noctis because Noctis said it was our fault he got voted... Pezuz maybe forgot that he never actually voted for Noctis.
-Defends joke post of prof.

Okay, I got lazy, let's go quickly to the main idea of day two:

Pezuz accusees radish of acting scummy, but quickly retracts his vote, saying that radish always acts scummy and gives hints, so he'll wait. This reeks of playing it safe.

Also whines about the inactivity, which is a safe subject. Anybody would have done that though, but for Pezuz, that's just another safe topic.

TL;DR.

PEZUZ IS PLAYING IT SAFE, AND REEKS OF MAFIA TRYING TO GO UNDER THE RADAR.

Shit, that was long.
Vote- Pezuz

So much for being his "coach," NotStan. I didn't teach him the ways of the townie properly, huh?

Note,

Pezuz wasn't lurking, but certainly going under the radar.

I rebuked NotStan and his post because he was implying actual lurkers, like Soleron. More often than not, people who have not posted at all are bored vanilla townies - or just caught up with life. If they are mafia, that's only luck. There's no actual trend of lurkers always being mafia, just wishful thinking of that trend.

Although I know my role better than the rest of you and thus might assume things differently. I am a bit surprissed about notstan and j0 asking me to get the info on FF
Knowing the role of the player the scum team killed isn't as helpful as knowing the role of the player we lynch. Mafia won't kill there own. While we wuld be best served by knowing any scum we lynch to help buold conections.
Prof with his neurtral stance also felt a bit weird but it wasn't as counter productive

I am still most suspicious of linkz
Neutral on prof
Leaning scum on radish and notstan
Leaning town on pez and spurg
Strongly thinking town on mario

I actually thought Noctis'  role was given to us by Stefl, so I asked you to get F-F's.

Didn't realize that it was you behind  until Noctisyou clarified. >.0
