Forums - Nintendo - Thanks to Galaxy, I'm about to give up on Mario.

Not to mention, in the original Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros, and Super Mario World, the role of Luigi was played by MARIO! He just put on a green hat and shirt! Luigi was too drunk to co-star in his own game! That's when I started to lose the Luigi love.

I'm tired of Nintendos exclusion of Luigi.. I friggen love Luigi I used to play two player games by myself just to play as the greatness that is the skinny bro! Edit: By the way the actual mainstay series Super Mario is only as tired as games like Metal Gear so don't give me that.. The sports game(excluding mario kart) yeah I agree.

I have never liked that much but he was great in Super Paper Mario.

Predictions for December 31st 2008:
Wii 38,000,000
DS 84,500,000
PS3 17,000,000
PSP 41,000,000
X360 23,000,000

Mario itself is rather tired i think... Time for a new IP Nintendo... Its about time :P

That'll never happen as long as Mario sells. Been doing high numbers for 20+ years, so why change it? Do I want something new? Yes. Am I getting it? No.

Luigi could have been awesome in Galaxy. Imagine that there's still the same number of stars for Mario to collect, but we're told that there are a whole lot more, and throughout the game as you get stars, Luigi is returning with stars as well. You could even have him pop in once or twice to help. You'd still get to help him out of a bind once and a while, but at least you'd feel like you're part of a kick ass Mario brothers team.

But no. Luigi's only slightly more avluable than the toad brigade.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

and to think that Luigi THOUGHT he could be Mario in the Thousand-Year Door... but I think his partners didn't like him that much... :)

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

At the end you get to play as Luigi and he's pretty good actually.. it just takes a while to get there.

Atleast he played like he did in Super Mario Bros. 2 which was awesome, note his triple jump.

Luigi should turn out to be a bad guy in the next Mario. They should team him up with all the Mario villians.

Luigi did get to be a bad guy in Super Paper Mario, at least for a little bit.

CIHYFS?

That would be awesome, but how about this:-

Luigi becomes evil from all the neglect and kills Mario, Luigi then feels sorry and then goes on a quest to resurrect Mario, when the quest is complete Mario is resurrected and upon resurrection Mario then apologises to Luigi for being such a prick all those years, then Mario bang peach while luigi bangs daisy and then after a week they swap, happy ending for all.
