good list but I don´t think Team Ico will survive the Last Guardian desaster

This would really suck.

Very impressive list!

Here, I made another one:

  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title
  • Unannounced title

all for PS3 / PS4 / Vita!

seriously, this is more speculation than anything else. The upcoming big exclusives are TLoU, GoW:A and maybe Beyond. All set for a 2013 release, which makes 2012 lineup pretty weak.

I'll make one for Xbawks

Unannouced title

Gears 4

People can act butt hurt about the one console you own all you want. The rest of us will just enjoy both.

Wow! That is really impressive. Very good reason to own a Sony console. Especially the PS3.

Actually, I would say it's a little weaker than in previous years. I feel that a lot of these unannounced titles/devs that are up in the air, are working on next gen games....

For 2012 and for strictly the ps3, yeah, I agree that it is weaker, and for the same reason you mentioned (ps4's imminent release); but, the main reason I made the thread was to look forward to all Playstation exclusive games (handhelds less so), ps3 OR ps4. As a true Playstation fan, an exclusive being on ps4 rather than ps3 won't matter, since they'll have the ps4 eventually anyways. Even for non-Playstation fans, this list may give them an idea of whether they may have interest in Sony's next-gen platform.

I'm really looking forward to figuring out what Sony has up their sleeves. It seems like they're planning a new arsenal of new IPs for next gen but it doesn't seem like they're ignoring their previous franchises either.

I really want to see what other games are coming out for the Vita though. I think it's yet to hit its stride but once it does, it will do great.

I find it hard to consider at least the PS3's upcoming lineup as weak though, then again I only bought a PS3 just lately it's hard for me to compare.

Looking at these games, I see the PS3 as a promising gaming machine this full year as of now:

The Last of Us

The Last Guardian

Playstation All Stars

Beyond

And a follow up to Sports Champions

And there are still unknowns and games by studios that will be good, but these are likely for PS4. Even with just those, as well as other games I'm not as much a fan of, I'll be a happy owner (on top of my backlog of course ).

I'll get

Ni No Kuni
Dragon's Crown
The Witch and the Hundred Knights
The Last Guardian
The Unfinished Swan
Beyond: Two Souls

Some people here can get really sensitive when it comes to their favorite company.

The point I tried to make is that all the games the OP listed are basically years away and some of them probably don't even exist. Yet the first responses are like "Oh Sony you hurt my wallet" or "Keep those great exlcusives coming!".

But when you check the real situation of the PS3 and PS Vita now, you can't ignore the fact that the Vita does sell as bad as it does due to lackluster software releases. In fact, Sony is banking on 3rd Party titles like CoD and Assassin's Creed to sell at least some of them this holiday season.
The PS3 lineup this year was 'meh' at best. Twisted Metal and Starhawk bombed big time, selling less than 700k combined worldwide (!!!) and with PSABR and LBP Karting there are only 2 exclusives worth mentioning coming this holiday season. A lot of people loved Journey though.

I am not saying that the PS3 will always have these dry years like 2012, in fact 2013 looks better with TLoU and GoW:A, but Sony is playing catch-up in 2013 for their lackluster 2012.

And people start to get hyped for PS4 titles now? We don't know anything about it. No specs, no design, no input-device NOTHING. And people are already cheering for it. You can call me the biggest Halo fanboy of continental Europe and would probably be right, but even I am not hyped for Halo 5 on Xbox 3 yet, because I have to see how the console it runs on will play like.

I did not want to ruin a party or piss on your parade, I just don't get the point of praising a company for something they MIGHT release in a couple of years time.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

But it could easily happen. Btw. I will buy Shadow of Collosos when summer deals start.

It's his thread, dude. He just tried to have a compilation of all games thay will or may come to PS consoles to have one place where all the info is and where some discussion can be had.

If you personally dislike the idea for whatever reason that's fine, but I still see no reason to attack a thread made with good intention such as this. Really pointless.

What on earth does sales have to do with whether the lineup was good or bad?  I really don't understand the reasoning of "It's only a good year for exclusives if they're multi-million sellers".  Does that mean we're only going to have a good year if we get Uncharted, Gran Turismo and God of War all in one year?!

They released those 2 games (Starhawk and Twisted Metal), regardless of whether they sold well or not.  We're consumers, not accountants.  We play for the games, not to worry about whether game x or game y sold more than z amount of copies.  The only thing that would change is a future year's lineups (maybe they won't release a sequel to Starhawk, for example) but we don't have to worry about that until the time comes.  We're talking about what the lineup for this year was like.

It would be like saying the lineup for 360 was good last year because Gears of War 3 & Forza 4 sold well.  Yes, they did, but propping up a whole console year with 2 releases does not make it a 'good' lineup for the players!

Also, I'd list MLB 12 (debatable) and Tales of Graces F as good exclusives we've had this year, and I'd add in Dust 514 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time to our list of exclusives coming up.  And the Jak & Daxter Collection, Ratchet & Clank Collection and Ratchet: Q Force.

Some users here take this thread way to seriously.

At:DirtyP: Its only a it can happen thread. of course but looking at the success of an Uncharted 3 or Gran Turismo 5 its qite obvious that an Uncharted 4 and Gran Turismo 6 will happen. And its also quite obvious that they will release on PS4 (or PS4 and PS3 together) since they would not release an Uncharted 4 so late in the gen.

And like many others i truly think that The Last of US, God of War Ascention and Beyound are the last big exclusives that will release on PS3.

The List give us only a little information of what we can looking forward in the future.
