It's possible that time spent making MP could have been spent perfecting the single player. I think that's the only real issue


Or they will take more time to develop it.

how can i know that if i don't know the version without mp? i'm pretty sure a game like cod would be better in singleplayer without multiplayer but how can i know that without seeing it^^

Bioshock no MP Bioshock 2 MP. Not affected

Uncharted Drakes Fortune no MP Uncharted 2 Amongst Thieves MP. Not affected

Mass Effect no MP Mass Effect 3 MP. Not affected.

yes and i didn't say anything else, just that i have no problem with mp as long as it won't affect singleplayer, if it was in other games or not. but you know, as more people work for mp as less can work for singleplayer or on the next game they make which we donÄt know about or whatever so even if the singleplayer won't be worse, it could mean the game will release later than it could and then i would prefer an earlier release without mp for the last of us. as sooner as better.

if anything of this will be the case for the last of us, i would prefer singeplayer only, if it will get the same singleplayer and will release at the same day, i prefer to get mp.

It depends on how they execute it, if the're some interesting multiplayer modes then fine with with me, but if it is just the same "go and kill everyone you see to gain points" then Nevvaa!!!!1112

As long as the single player campaign is good, I couldn't care one way or the other. If they add a cool co-op mode, I will be happier.

Well, Dead Space 3 seems to be taking a similar path. (If you have no one to play with there will be an AI to fill in.)

I can see them making it have some sort of survival mode with the "Clickers". If they do I hope it will be better than Treyarch's zombie modes because IMO those are horrible. Anyway I'm glad because it adds a bit more replay value, but we all know the single player will be killer and we all will want to play it 3 or 4 times.

It really doesn't matter. We know naughty dog don't compromise the single player of their games with multiplayer. People were apprehensive about uncharted 2 having a multiplayer and the game was one of the most successful in history. Same applies to uncharted 3. I'm sure the last of us will be no different.

Good, it is stupid not to have multiplayer nowadays and Naughty Dog showed all how to do tps multi-player right in uncharted 3. I do not se why people whine about it, times have changed for the better with more to do in each game.
