I still remember that we went to a "Service Merchandise" on the North Side of Chicago. We went to look for a TV and walked out with a new TV and the Atari 2600. At the time finding software was next to impossible then we found out that Sears also sold a Sears branded Atari 2600 and we could get the software there. Lots and lots of fun back in the 70s.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
What a diverse library the Atari 2600 had!
It included some of the best and worst video games ever made.

The company that started it all, sad to see it fall so far, hopefully one day it can regain its position as one of the big players in the console world :)
