I predict failure.

It's a Nintendo console launching with a new 2D Mario game. It won't be a failure by any stretch of the imagination.
Assuming that the PS4 and 720 release around the same time in 2013 I'm expecting the U to have sold anywhere between 10-15m by the time they're released.
I think a great deal of people are unaware of how much a system seller ZombiU is going to be too. Ubisoft are going to be like Scrooge McDuck swimming in a swimming pool full of cash. ZombiU, Just Dance 4, Rayman Legends and Rabbids Land are all going to fly off shelves imo.
Lego City Undercover, Pikmin 3 and NintendoLand (assuming it's not packed in) will all do well too.

How is ZombiU going to be a system seller? Maybe you're the one not aware that it won't be one? Its a complete toss-up and no one can claim anything either way.
Ubisoft will be swimming in cash but it will very little to do with ZombiU at any rate. Rayman games flying off the shelves? Three Rayman games released early in the Wii's lifetime sold well (the best one doing just shy of 2 million) but the last one; Rayman Origins, sold a measly 320k. Just Dance is a given, no reason to doubt the selling power of this franchise after what we've seen so far.
At least you added an "imo" in that paragraph but I have a hard time seeing ZombiU and any Rayman title as system sellers, especially as launch titles. Games like ZombiU are very good for diversity though, something the Wii consoles are in dire need of when it comes to "hardcore" games and I am pretty excited to see and try this title myself.

I've got to agree... essnetially there are 3 types of system sellers, and one of those types is debatable.
1) BIG franchises. Biggest example I can think of are sports franchises like FIFA. Sports Fans who don't play/like videogames will buy videogame Systems JUST for Sports games so they can make there season and franchise go the way they want to.
Hell look at the amazing sales and Playtime the "Football Manage" series games get on PC, when the aternate title for that game could be "Spreadsheets: Return of the Stats."
Of course your big shooters and stuff also can be counted here.
2) Niche games. (The debatable one). Games like Disgaea, Super Robot Taisen and stuff will sell a number of systems from there fans just to play these games. Hell there were people who bought Japanese PS2s just to play Super Robot Wars games. These numbers are of course... much more limited.
3) Games that get big that generation. Wii-Fit, Wii-Sports are good examples from last generation, but when I say Big... i mean nearing 10M big. Your 2-3M games are nice, but aren't likely to move systems, and least not by themselves.
COULD Zombie U be that? I guess. Any game COULD be, kind of a crazy thing to predict at this point.
