Forums - Nintendo - Who owns FIFA 12 on 3ds?

I'm looking to get a football game for my awesome little system and I know ea would say this and claimed its the best football game they have ever made for a handheld, I hear it's got lots of content, or should I wait until FIFA 13? What I want to know more than anything is how the gameplay holds up and are the keepers good ;)

I say wait for FIFA 13, it comes in October. Also, you can check out YouTube for gameplay.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Its not the definitive handheld football game it should be :(

Love your sig! I really miss Sega. Been playing my DC this week (I'm a sad git and have every PAL game).

For football on a handheld I think FIFA 13 will be the one for handhelds. Especially as the Vita FIFA was based on FIFA 11. Heard very good things about Pro Evo 2012 on 3DS though.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I love pes especially the wii series gameplay wise, but I want all the licensed teams and lower league teams, just want to know how well it plays and and what the player physics are like, and thanks sega holds my finest gaming memories :)

What is the obsession with these FIFA Games?

Well personally I've always owned football games, guess it's the equivalent of someone in the u.s who buys nfl or nba games

Ive got Fifa 12 mate, and its not too bad. All the teams, players and kits are fully liscened (via an update after the game has been booted up) Some decent content for a footie handheld game (inc a street kickabout). Its graphically better than the Wii versions and it plays at a slower pace than most footie games, enabling you to knock the ball about a bit. The defences are also difficult to break down thus feeling rewarding when you do breach it and there is an option to do a quick shot when in range of goal by using the touchscreen. The latter seems a bit clumsy at first but when you get used to it, it becomes a very useful asset and you will be pinging shots into the roof of the net in no time. Hope this helps :)

Cheers zippy, I think I'll wait a little longer and see how FIFA 13 turns out before i buy, I only plan to own one football game on the 3ds, sounds good that the defence's are harder to breakdown, that's always my worry when I buy a football game is if it's to easy to score or if the keepers are rubbish, but I guess this isn't FIFA 98 anymore lol
