Why is nobody talking about this?  I could only find a single thread on this, from when it was still a rumor and we had no details.

So yeah, Okami is being remastered in HD for PS3 with support for both Move and analog controls.  It's set for Fall, and it'll be released on PSN in North America and Europe for $19.99/€19.99, and in Japan via retail in addition to PSN for ¥3,900.   You can pre-order the Japanese release for  $79.90 USD at Play-Asia.

I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time! Possibly ever!  I've only played the Wii version, but I loved it, and I thought the brush controls were mapped to the Wiimote really well.  It may have been my favorite use of motion on the console.  The mix of style and music is only matched by a select few other games, in my opinion, like the Wind Waker and Shadow of the Colossus, but even they fall short.  Just hearing the music in the trailer for this remaster had me all giddy.

This will unquestionably be the best version of the game released.  HD.  Motion or analog controls.  Trophies.  Though I'm surprised they didn't announce a Wii U version.  I feel like there's always a boat Capcom's missing when it comes to poor little Okami.

I played the ps2 version when it came out and will definitely buy this again to play in HD. I'm still on the fence whether move will be worth it. I'll give it a try but I rather control the camera with a 2nd analog stick.

It looks like I'll end up playing more ps2 HD remakes this year then new games. So far I've finished the Sly Cooper trilogy, Jak and Dexter trilogy and am currently playing the MGS trilogy. I'm also looking forward to the Ratchet and Clank trilogy.

It looks awesome and I have always kinda wanted to play it. My most anticipated game as well.

Someone at Sony Japan should start an intiative to see if they can't get a team or publisher together to try and make a new game.  Clearly Capcom wants nothing to do with it.  It would create a great amount of good will for Sony.

Well, I could agree with that but I would want it for Wii U of course. (Which would mean Nintendo would have to convince them.)
