I still wonder what would've happened had they delayed the initial release of the game, releasing it on ps2 and Wii at the Wii's launch instead of only on ps2 in mid-2006. It would've released alongside Twilight Princess, even more obvious comparisons would've been drawn, and it would've been the only other good launch title to get. If Red Steel could break a million, surely this could've done that and more.
We could've seen an Okami 2 by now. ;_;
I think they'd do well to try and plan a release for the Wii U's launch, at the very least. Allow the use of either the Wii U controller or Wii controls, have some form of achievements/trophies, etc. It could be an identical copy of the PS3 version, given the Wii U's more than capable of handling all its features.
