Forums - Sony - Okami HD with Move!

I still wonder what would've happened had they delayed the initial release of the game, releasing it on ps2 and Wii at the Wii's launch instead of only on ps2 in mid-2006. It would've released alongside Twilight Princess, even more obvious comparisons would've been drawn, and it would've been the only other good launch title to get. If Red Steel could break a million, surely this could've done that and more.

We could've seen an Okami 2 by now. ;_;

I think they'd do well to try and plan a release for the Wii U's launch, at the very least. Allow the use of either the Wii U controller or Wii controls, have some form of achievements/trophies, etc. It could be an identical copy of the PS3 version, given the Wii U's more than capable of handling all its features.

In development. They said they need 30 years to make a remake. Give em some time, dude.

No one is talking about the move part because motion controls are considered for casuals and gimmicky according to all the hardcroe on these forums.

I for one will not be upgrading ever since Capcom cut clove studio staff from the credits. every unprofessional.

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier since it's pretty much obligatory for me. I don't even really play videogames anymore but this looks absolutely awesome, of course. Thanks for making the thread MM.

They added the credits back into the Japanese release of the Wii version, and I presume they will do the same for this new release.

The problem with the credits was a legal issue.  The credits were an FMV that included the Clover logo, and it was specifically the Clover logo that they were unable to include in the game.

@montana:  It had to be made!

If I'd a PS3, this would complement my Wii version nicely.

Okami

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.
