What's your point? It wasn't meant to cover every last great 80s song, and I certainly didn't say that I agreed with the list's ranking. I just provided it as a way to remind posters of some great songs from the decade.

My point is that you can make a list of "Good songs from..."or "Great songs from..." and there wouldn't be a problem. But if you make a list and call it the "Greatest Songs of...", then you have to make a good list, otherwise that list is useless.

And I'm not against you for posting the list because, as you said when you posted it, it was for reference and it is useful, but it's not a list of the Greatest songs of the 80s.

Just to add more lists: "450 Greatest Songs Of The '80s", or the, only for rock'nroll, "Top ten songs of each year (1980-1989)".

The 80s were great for hip hop, it's all I listen to from the 80s, Big Daddy Kane was the king IMO.
