Am I the only one who thinks that it's FRICKING HUGE!

And anyone seriously expecting a second nub is out of their mind. No game will ever require the second nub, so why make the system have it?

Kid Icarus needed one. Monster Hunter 4 needs one. Pretty much any serious game with a free form camera, IE not rails games.

And yes the size flies in the face of anyone who complained about the size of the vita, which _does_ fit in pockets. This one will too unless you are shorter than 5 feet tall.

None of the games needed the add-on. I'm playing KI perfectly fine without it. It's an add-on, and not needed. Besides, that's 2 games, so it's better to buy a cheap add-on, rather than buy an entirely new console for the second nub when you won't use it 95% of the time.

I've played my 3DS for nearly 700 hours, and never felt like I needed it. Same with the DS, and that didn't have any!

1 - No it doesn't. Even the creator said it would be a worse game with it. Have you played it? It's guaranteed that whoever would use an analog nub to aim would be destroyed in multiplayer.

2 - It has a virtual camera control pad on the second screen. Other than that, there's circle pad pro for those who really need it. I know it's not the best solution, but oh well. 5 million played it with less than that and loved it.

I agree it was a flaw no to add it in the first model, but to think they can add one now and make 15 million 3DS obsolete is absurd. Well, thing is going to sell well, I'm sure Nintendo will survive without people that has complaints similar to yours

And finally, simply the most gorgeous game this year, imo.
Perfection so far. This is Final Fantasy for me

You are indeed right. This is what I been waiting for and I hope its worth it.

Damn. Now I need to add Bravery Default to Layton, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, NSMB2 and Paper Mario, my "Must-Buy" 3DS list!

You're thinking I meant needed one as in would not work without one. What im really saying is that I tried KI and could not continue after more than 2 hours into the game because it was just so clunky and horrid. MH4 would be the same. After playing MHFU on my vita I refuse to ever go back to playing with the claw.

For me the reason DS was fine (aside from the fact that I still hate Duel Screens) is I could never really play more than mario or zelda or crap touch screen games on my DS. If I wanted something serious that required finer control, I had to play my PSP. The same would be for the 3DS vs PSV. But since I got burned with the DS and the Wii, i'm pretty much done with Nintendo.

Yes, but that's not what you said. You said "needed one", i.e. would not work without it. It works without it, and it works fine. I've played KI for over 25 hours now and never once felt 'you know, I NEED a second stick here'. And millions of people have played MH with just the one stick on the PSP/Wii, so why would it make a difference on the 3DS?

It's nice to have options, and I'll probably get the second nub for MH3P/4, but to say it needs it is just wrong. I'm happy that Nintendo didn't put it in; ruin the feel of the 3DS (because wherever you put it it'd feel off), and made devs create experiences suited to the 20-odd million people who have a 3DS currently.

That bolded line was pretty obvious, I'm afraid. You've made it clear you've either never played the games you're referencing, and certainly you either don't have, or don't like, the 3DS. And that's fine. Prefer your PSP/Vita. That's cool. But please, stop acting like my hands are falling off, and you know what every 3DS owner wants, because the 3DS NEEDS a second nub, because it most certainly doesn't. 99% of people who have a 3DS would tell you that.

You don't need to be so defensive about it jeeze. Of course your hands arent falling off and neither are '99%' of the people that own a 3DS.

I waited for KI before thinking about buying 3DS. Then I demoed KI and it just didn't not work for me, I know if it has been redone with a second stick in mind it would probably play 2X better. When the CPP came out I thought maybe nintendo would turn it around with the next revision (cause lets face it the CPP is about a clunky as you can get), but today just confirmed that they aren't.

Sorry if this all pisses you people off. I thought I'd voice my laments here, but apparently dissenting voices aren't welcome in these parts. I'm out.
