To be honest, i dont think next gen will make a difference. Games are becoming few and too alike. The new gen isnt gonna help with that. You can expect FPS and 3rd person shooter galore. I am turning towards portable gaming instead. I find that graphics make less of a difference every passing day. I would rather a rich experience that isnt exactly like the other 80% of the games. Actually... at this point it would be very difficult to convince me to buy a new system. Even looking at the best of E3 like watch dogs and Star wars 1313... it was more of the same a tad prettier. Thats what next gen is gonna be and im not sure i care much about that. Current gen might aswell keep going and reducing costs until we can get games that are more interesting and different aswell as new IP's.

If I actually found Watch Dogs, The Last Of Us, and 3EYOND to be anything but "more of the same". That's why those titles were praised the way they were - beautiful visuals and something new to look forward to. They may not have re-invented the wheel, but they certainly weren't in the category of "been there, done that".

Ok watch dogs = GTA4/5.
The last of Us = Uncharted
Beyond = Heavy rain...
but, at least they are new IP's so im fine with that. I just think the prettier graphics are gonna last 1 hour until our eyes adjust and then its gonna be the same again. But, at least its new IP's with new characters and storyline so im all up for that.
My point is, a new generation is not gonna help at all with our entertainment. Its gonna be the same as owning an expensive apple product. Its just looks, and the games are all gonna be predictable sequels on mainstream genres.
