OMG I haven't visited this site in a few months now but after seeing E3 I think it's time that I start gaming again. Anyway now about the pre orders:

Halo 4 doing better than COD?!
- As much as I would love for this to happen but based on previous NPD and VGC sales, Halo isn't as big as COD on the the 360 in the U.S! However due to all the hate and the reputation of COD people may have grown tired of it and now most FPS gamers are shifting back to Halo.

No the Last of Us...No GOD OF WAR!!!
-Once again, based on previous stats GOW is much bigger than Assassin's creed which is now over 200k! God of War 3's pre orders were ahead of AC: 2 at the time of launch and GOW Ascension isn't in the top 50? God of War Ascension is ranked #1 on Amazon but doesn't manage to crack the top 50! The last of us is also ranking very high on other pre order sites but still doesn't manage to get in the top 50...

There are possibly more flaws that I haven't looked at but these seem very universalistic.

I remember some Nintendo game having pre-orders higher than the game's lifetime sales for like...3-4 weeks. I forgot which one it was though.

I'm the biggest God of War fan on Vgchartz but come on God of War: Ascension has only been up for pre-order for about 7 weeks and it's almost 38 weeks from launch, not that many games make it onto the pre-order charts in such little time so far away from release.

It'll probably make it onto the charts next week as it's been in the top 15 best selling games on Amazon.com across all video game hardware & software (even being in the top 5 a couple of times) for over 12 days in a row now (still at 11 right now) and it's been in the top 15 best selling PS3 games in Gamestop since they started taking pre-orders.

Then again, we recently found out the God of War games were massively under-tracked with GoW3 being a whopping 800,000 under so who's to say God of War: Ascension isn't under-tracked and should be in the pre-order charts? I'm not complaining though as I really don't care because Vgchartz doesn't claim to be 100% accurate and Sony will announce the numbers eventually anyway.

On a side note; Halo 4 is doing amazingly!

Skyward Sword is not just "Some Nintendo Game", but you're right.

Xenoblade had a similar issue, where its preorders were the same as its FW sales. But, to VGC's fairness, it has improved massively over the past few months. So I'd say the values shown are accurate, and sadly I don't think TLOU is big enough to crack the top 50 yet. Same with All-Stars. GOW should be around #50, and I'd expect it in next week, or the week after.

Well, the guy didn't know the name of the game, it was pretty obvious he would have called it some nintendo game.

Firstly, I didn't say 'just'. I said it was some Nintendo game, which is true. I didn't say 'just' some Nintendo game, I'm not trying to downgrade the game. Don't try to make it seem like I said being a Nintendo game is it's best achievement. You added the 'just' in yourself. Why? I don't know, maybe to make it seem like I was trolling SS. I don't know.

Secondly, how could I possibly specify any further if I wasn't even sure what game I was referring to? The only thing I knew about it was the fact that it was a Nintendo game. Stop being so paranoid.
