Forums - Nintendo - Sensor Bar for wii games?

So i sold my wii in early 2010 and now that the wii u is coming,I though i should buy some games since wii u is backwards compatible and paying 60euros for new games nowadays is not easy. But the question I have is would you still need a wii sensor bar to play the wii games or does the wii u console have it's own sensor bar which can pick up the wii remote..

Apparently Nintendo will include it. At least in the pics of WiiU where a TV can be seen, there is always a sensor bar on it

you missed a lot man...2010 and 2011 were very good years to be a Wii owner...

The Wii U comes with two sensor bars... One is like, if not identical to the one that comes with the Wii... and the other is incorporated into the Wii U controller.

Integrated in the consoles, like the PS3.

You can by watching off-screen gameplay of Pikmin 3.

You can always buy the sensor bar separately if they don't include it. I've seen it before at retailers.
