this is ridiculous! It's quite possible Nintendo hasn't even decided what they will sell it for.

No way they will sell it for $250 (200 Euros). That's the same price as the Wii when it was launched. Obviously the WiiU has some more expensive technology than the Wii, in addition it comes with a Gamepad, which certainly is not cheap. I will be extremely surprised if it releases for less than $300.

£199.99 would translate over to $249.99 if previous pricing are any indication.

This actually might not be so bad. IIRC the cost of making Wii U was around $170, so they would still be profiting. They probably shouldn't get too greedy as the 3DS launch showed.

Day 1 for sure, however I expect somewhere between $299 to $350 to be honest. In which case I will also buy it day 1.
