Gran Turismo on the Vita is an ok move by Sony but it wont attract many consumers. Sony needs to come up with games that fit perfectly on a portable machine that will attract all sorts of gamers and until then, Vita will remain an afterthought for most people including me. Of course this is easier said than done.
If GT comes to Vita, then it won't make any difference for me. Gran Turismo is only awesome because of it's graphics, physics, tracks, car selection, events and music, all of which can only be enjoyed properly on a big screen on a powerful non-portable console (well for me at least). Although GT5 did disappoint in many areas but it was still a good game. I'm expecting a lot more from PD in GT6 and thats what matters not Gran Turismo Portable.
so you've obviously never touched a Vita or any of it's games, and your talking about it's portability
how....does that work?
and another thing I've always wondered: do people not realize how completely retarded the "but why would I play a portable version if I can play the console version" excuse to dismiss Vita games is?
Lol. I've played Uncharted GA which was decent but nothing compared to the 3 Uncharted games on the PS3. Wipeout was pretty good. Gravity Rush seems to be the most original thing out there but I haven't followed it much. Heres hoping it's an excellent game.
I'm not 'dismissing' any games and said a Gran Turismo would be an ok move by Sony but I wouldn't play it when I have the much better version on the PS3.

I swear I need to see these people with their ps3 home console in their pocket, a power supply strapped to tier backs, and a HD projector attached to their face. Because clearly Sony didn't know these existed thus making the FAIL Vita alternative. And what's funny is how non of that seems very portable but then neither is the Vita amirite?
EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
lol So this is what you guys would rather do than own a Vita

Vita IS totally worthless
Calm down bro.
Bring some good original games on the Vita then I might consider it. Gravity Rush is a start. Though I'd mostly play it at home since I have better things to do when going out.

becasue it's impossible to make a original game in the same franchise right? becasue if it carries the same name than CLREALY it's a port right? it won't bother using the unique features on the Vita becasue ummm..... *goes back to playing fucking Mario Kart*

Lol stop putting words into my mouth. Gran Turismo is known for it's realism namely it's physics and graphics. Thats works much better on a powerful console. Games like Final Fantasy (RPGs in general), platformers such as LBP or original adventure titles like Gravity Rush would work well on a portable console especially one as powerful as the Vita. A kart racing game such as LBP kart racing would work well too. Develop more original games and then more consumers will be attracted to the Vita. "Unique features" on the Vita mean nothing if it doesn't have the games.
Another thing, no need to get so emotional over video games.
That PS+ offer would be extremely appealing if true... Buying FIFA on my PS3, and playing on my Vita for FRAAY?? It would hurt software sales, but consumers would be VERY happy (a.k.a me :D)
