Halo 4 kicks off 343 Industries control over the future of the Halo franchise - as well as the new 'Reclaimer trilogy' of Halo games - and the studio is already thinking about the follow-up to Halo 4 according to a recent job listing.

"343 Industries is looking for an experienced Creative Director to lead and deliver a groundbreaking new AAA entertainment experience set in the Halo universe," reads theadvert, which went live yesterday.

"This is an exciting and rare opportunity to impact the future of one of the industry’s most successful franchises," it adds.

"The Creative Director will be part of the core team that defines and drives the vision while providing a source of inspiration, leadership, creative focus, and most importantly, a guiding light for the project team."

Former Halo 4 CD Rtan Payton is now working on ambitious multi-platform titleRepublique - current Halo 4 CD is Josh Holmes.

Will Halo 5 launch on Xbox Next? Will it even be called Halo 5? What'll happen in Halo 4? That last one gets answered on 6 November 2012. On Xbox 360.

sure that's what millions of halo fans hope for. i don't need fable or uncharted forever but games like mario or gran turismo or halo should be made as longs as i live^^

can't explain it, i really like uncharted as example but i love to see the development for the last of us now and i would hate to hear "we make something not halo"

I'm just glad they used the "AAA" term instead of the "AAAA" one I saw Microsoft throwing around a few months ago. The number of A's is starting to get out of control. xD

Don´t get me wrong, I have nothing against this console I think it is as good as the PS3 some games look and run better on the Box some on the PS3. I see them equal.

i wonder what aaa is for you? it seems like you have a perfect definition to say exactly which games are and which not. many sales? expensive development? much advertisement? making aaa out of it with the company saying aaa on a conference?
