What?!

Mario, WiiU Fit and Nintendo Land will probably sell not only that but twice that amount or more, but the third party titles don't have a chance.

Hell, if they sell 2 million on a newly released console that will have to fight for those sales against their competitors that, not only will have the same game (not as good looking but nothing really noticeable) but that already have the players that bought the former entries of those sagas on those consoles, they can be happy.

The only game that I am aware of that ever had cross platform multiplayer was FFX XI as an online MMO, but even then, I am not sure.

 

Portal 2 allows cross play between PC and PS3 players, and I think Shadowrun allowed the same thing between PC and Xbox360.

And we have to see the EA games. ME3 has only a cinematic trailer and Madden and FIFA are almost confirmed for Wii U. Let's better wait until launch.

This is Nintendo philosophy since some years ago.

Me too, of all games that would be better with the gamepad, GTA is by far the one that would benefit the most

Just maps and annotations would make a huge difference,  but imagine what some little creativity could achieve.

massive conspicuous absence imo.  i thought for sure the fact it wasn't shown proved it wasn't coming (this year at least).  if it is coming nintendo is massively stupid to not show this title off at E3.

Can't agree more, Nintendo needed to show their online is up to PSN/XBL standard now, Black Ops 2 would've done that :/
