Why did you change the topic to North Korea?

Well it's about time he admitted it.

Odd political timing but i suppose Obama's safe since the Republicans seem to have made silly costly wars a literal campaign plank... and NOT being in a couple makes you week on national security.

I agree. That's why i've been saying it's impossible for the Republicans to try to cast Obama as a new-age Jimmy Carter (which itself is idiotic. Another reason to hate Reagan for painting Carter like that when Carter's diplomacy was quite effective outside of the Tehran Hostage Crisis), but anyway, there's almost no way any sane individual could think Obama's being soft on anyone, though lord bless the republican spin doctors for trying to portray him that way.

If anything I'd say Obama's been the "hardest" on terrorism.  Afterall he greatly accelerated the "war on terror" with drone strikes, invaded Libya.

I'd be shocked if a Romney presidency escalated further.

Guess they're just doing it because they can't play the other card.  It doesn't seem to be a narrative they are using a lot.  Unlike Obama, trying to paint Romney has extreme despite him being a moderate and there being something like a years worth of Republican primaries talking about how he wasn't extreme enough.
