It'd be awesome if he was a newcomer. You know we need some new blood in the next game and NSAF could be that new suprise character.

Of course, he is now a new nintendo character, needs his own saga (c'mon it could be a total hit), and really needs to be in smash bros. , and it's awesome :D

I'm wondering who is next for Super Smash Bros. actually. Sonic and Snake just didn't tickle my fancy in the same way that the plethora of new characters in Melee did.

Sonic and Snake were not the only new characters in SSBB. King Dedede, Metaknight, Pit, Ike, Wolf, Diddy Kong, R.O.B., Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, Pokemon Trainer and Lucas were all new.

Exactly my point.  Sonic and Snake were the highlights for me among those characters (I wanted to like Olimar, but goddamn he was useless).  I'd also say - I'm a relatively average Nintendo fan, but some of those began to push the boundaries of characters I recognised (I had to google R.O.B and Pit (although I know who Pit is now, I didn't then)), so what could possibly be up next?
